What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
I want the audience to take away the message of how ridiculous the Salem Witch Trials and that era of our country was.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
Opportunities like this are important because it gives students a chance to experiment with a medium that they might otherwise not have tried.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I had a blast filming the cooking scene, especially combining a bunch of random ingredients to make a gross stew.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
The obstacles that challenged us most were scheduling issues as we all had our own conflicts throughout the writing and filming process. I learned about filming, audio, and editing.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Have fun! Don’t worry about winning or being the best. Just enjoy what you have.
