What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
Everything is not as it seems.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
The opportunities are important to students because it allows students to branch out and be involved in filmmaking.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I loved filming the drone shots of her crying. They were really pretty and easy to set up. We crashed our drone for one of the shots and it caused a lot of panic and laughter.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
The obstacles we faced were that we filmed in a public park. We would have to stop several times because people would walk through the shots we were trying to get. I’ve learned to be patient and to always have a backup plan.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Have fun. Don’t let it stress you out.
