What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
If you work really hard you can play even harder. Work can be fun, and by working hard you can feel less guilty of playing hard.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
These opportunities are very important to me because I get to learn new skills and get to make new memories.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I really loved recording all the voice overs. It was really fun to hear how different we all sound and how we all sound together. I also loved to film the students working in class and getting to see how the other classes work.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
The hardest part about making this short film was getting all the footage together and laying it out in Canva. I learned how fun it is to film different people and edit various videos. This taught me to work hard so I can play hard at Film Prize Jr.!
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Have fun with your film and tryout all the different effects! Don’t be too serious with it. You can go abstract and be creative with it. This is your own creation!
