FILMMAKER INTERVIEW

What do you want the audience to take away from the film?

We want the audience to take away that age old saying, “to not trust strangers”.

Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?

Opportunities like Film Prize Junior are important to students like me because we can express ourselves in ways that we normally can’t in an academic classroom.

Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?

We had an absolute blast filming the scene where Carl kept making funny faces. It was his first experience on camera and it took a minute for him to become comfortable.

What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?

The obstacles and challenges our crew had filming made us learn it’s pretty hard to make an almost perfect scene. It was really difficult agreeing on ho two shoot the scenes.

What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?

I would give future participants of Jim Prize Junior the advice of don’t give up! Even when it gets difficult. Go outside your comfort zone because that’s when the magic happens.
