I want the audience to take away the uneasy feeling the film might put off.. The film ends on a cliffhanger of what happened to the other mother as the girl runs out of the apartment .I liked the idea of adding this so the audience could come up with their own theories as to what had happened.

Opportunities like Film Prize allow kids to be creative and use their ideas. It gives them the opportunity to put themselves out there and show what they have made.

The scene before I walked into the house. The day we filmed the sky wasnt really helping us with the lightning but I like how the shot came out.

The most challenging part was helping my parents understand. I was the director and had to direct the camera and my mom. My mom is camera shy so I had to help her with her body language as the other mother. Also helping her with her lines and getting the timing right on them. Directing the camera man was easy. I just needed to explain and have him vision how I envisioned the shots.

Make sure you do your shot list and script a long time before filming. Make sure to go over your information and add notes. Don’t rush anything, just have fun with it.
