What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
The film wasn’t made to shed light on a real world issue, or teach people a valuable lesson, it was made for the sole purpose of entertaining the audience.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
I’m able to showcase my work against pears to better recognize the good and bads of my projects, It allows other people to see my work, and winning would boost my confidence in future projects.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
The dream with the jump scare.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
Restrictions on going places we wanted to film, and other little things. I still believe with the obstacles we managed to make a great film.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Although I believe this is a subjective question, one thing that is rhetorical is you should get as many actors as possible.
