LOGLINE
When a teenage girl becomes suspicious of her younger sister’s strange behavior, she finds out the
shocking truth that her sister has been transformed into a vampire – forcing her to deal with this terrifying
new reality which threatens to consume their family.

What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
The importance of finding a story that you feel excited about and using your creativity to tell that story.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
It gets us a chance to tell a story and to improve our acting skills. It’s also a chance to get our story out to our friends and to share it out in the public.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I enjoyed being the disgruntled mom who just wants to watch her show. But it was definitely also alot of fun trying to figure out putting the vampire teeth on the boys who played the vampire.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
Filming with the blue screen gave us the chance to film in different locations, but you can also see in the video how hard it can be to keep the blue and green out of people’s hair.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Take the time to write a good story, so that you can really get into the world you are creating and make it feel real.
