A student is asked to boost morale in the school and has to follow the best athlete through a week in his life. Only to discover that the athlete is not what he’s made out to be.

What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
Always be your authentic self despite pressures.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
It gives me a chance to explore the ideas of theatre and expand my repertoire before going to college. I am able to challenge myself outside of high school restrictions.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I had an absolute blast filming cut scenes of Alex breaking down emotionally.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
I learned that you get good takes sometimes by accident. As someone who is a perfectionist with a solid goal, I had to learn to make do with what I had.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Don’t limit your own expectations and trust the process with the film’s own journey.
