What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
I want the audience to take away the idea that improv can be done and you don’t necessarily need a good script to create a work of art.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
These opportunities are important because they open our eyes to the career paths we may have in this industry one day.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
For me it was the engine room scene. It really shows our ability to work in such a short amount of time to create something spectacular.
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
The most challenging thing had to be the time crunch. One thing that we can takeaway from this process is that improv requires way more time than scripted performance.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Time Time Time. Allow yourself MONTHS to properly prepare yourself for everything that goes into filming!
