What do you want the audience to take away from the film?
The importance of friendship and family.
Why are opportunities like Film Prize Junior important to students like you?
Film Prize Junior allows me to express my creativity and my love for writing.
Which scene did you have an absolute blast filming and why?
I really liked filming the birthday scene because there was a real cake that we got eat when we were finished!
What obstacles challenged you and your crew the most when completing this film? What did you learn from making this short film?
We were working on one computer for 3 films so I was rushed at the end to finish the film. I had wanted to redo a few of the audio clips, but they wouldn’t download to the computer in time. I wish I would have started filming sooner. I learned more about editing and adding multiple sound clips.
What advice would you give to future participants in Film Prize Junior?
Start early and audio is SO important!
